Bachelor of Science (Hons.) - Biochemistry

Biochemistry is a field of biology that involves the application of chemistry in all living organisms and involves study of atoms and molecules which comprise living organisms integrating chemistry, technology, medicine and many other fields. This program will aid the students to learn basic sciences along with the recent developments in the field of Biochemistry and modern drug discovery approach and fully equips them for various competitive exams. Various organizations as in medical industry, research labs as institutes viz. CSIR, IITs, NITs, DRDO, ICAR, AIIMS, INMAS, BARC, and TIFR etc, agriculture, pharmaceutical companies as well as academic institutions engage graduates in Biochemistry every year. Students can also opt for further studies in any of the diverse fields of life science or can pursue career in teaching and research in universities/institutes.
